Commissioning and testing state of the art EUV lithography machines in its early stage of mass production deployment has taught me to troubleshoot complex subsystems under high customer/management pressure. What compelled me about this job was the connection between troubleshooting, managing customer expectations and leading/teaching engineers on site. Plus the international aspect, where I had to travel abroad and stay on location for one to two months at a time.

A four month internship in Romania: Learning the way of working on a shipyard and investigating an ongoing issue on tank sounding. A big lesson learned for me here, is that a cascade of minor errors on different areas - both technical and in communication - can lead to difficulties finding an out of spec situation with an unclear root cause.
