Setting and Running of Grinding equipment both Manual (Jones and Shipman)and CNC grinders using Fanuc systems, on both Studer and Voumard machines.Work off Engineering Drawings to produce parts within tight tolerances, from as low as 0.0025mm to 0.005mm.Experience in using a wide range of inspection equipment such as Plug Gauge, Air Gauge, Bore Micrometre, Dial Test Indicator, Steel Slip Gauge Blocks, Digital Calliper and Micrometre.Problem Solving – Identifying the solutions to making the machines on my section work more efficiently to help contribute to a more productive workplace.Experience in other manual grinding operations such as Centreless, Cylindrical and Surface Grinding.Train and mentor apprentices through inhouse programs , that develop their capabilities and measure progress, on set specific criteria and part inspection, by carrying out 1st off checks using pre proven programs and aligning parts on a Zeiss CMM.Apprentice Trained – Manual Milling and Turning training also completed.
