I am pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UNESP - São Paulo State University on Bayesian statistics and inference for recommendation systems. I have direct contact with researchers and employees from the industry as well as academic researchers. This multi-faceted collaboration creates an environment for critical thinking where scientific progress goes hand-in-hand with industry-led innovations.I have discovered myself in the world of probabilistic programming with Python and in Bayesian statistics and modelling. Given the stochastic nature of many relevant real-world applications - such as stock market, climatological forecast, and social network systems - and their underlying data, I feel humbled and honored to be able to leverage computational power alongside a dense, rich stochastic toolset to provide a better understanding, modelling, and recommendation for a myriad of relevant scenarios and shareholders' interests.
