Responsible for ensuring that all contracts are effectively executed, providing management and guidance to the Operators to implement and monitors all commercial contracts by vessels employed by the Company and/or appointed by external partners, my responsibilities includes: To guide the Operators if a problem arises to seek for the most cost-effective solution where applicable and ensures that the Operators monitor vessels’ performance. To supervise the quality of the services rendered meets all contractual terms and conditions, handling disputes and makes improvements where necessary, in close cooperation with all relevant departments to meet or exceed customers’ expectations as well as give timely and accurate feedback on clients’ wishes and complaints to the departments or persons concerned. To ensure that any customer’s complaint is dealt with in a timely and proper manner and systems are amended to avoid reoccurrence. To support the Chartering Manager with the preparation and implementation of a commercial policy, including marketing plans and (financial) budgets to improve and extend present business based on annual targets, providing routing advice, informing about the suitability of the ports and about the suitability of the vessel to meet the contractual requirements (vessel performance)

Main task was to analyze the company costs and incomes structure and deliver a cost control procedure and a business plan to improve incomes and reduce costs, also implemented a KPI dashboard and Operations Procedures survey and improvement proposal.Also cooperate as Advisor in other Globalvia projects as railway multimodal Terminal.

I joined Bergé Marítima in Cartagena (Spain) and I’ve moved in November 2009 to the role of Manager of Tarragona branch office in charge of stevedoring (general and bulk cargo), Car Terminal (Carport), ships’ agency and custom’s brokerage agency. Bergé Tarragona operates a bulk and general cargo Stevedoring Company and a Car Terminal with annual budget up to 14MM €.

K5 is a private port and logistic base for Oil&Gas Upstream, specialised in general cargo, containerized and heavy cargo located in Malabo, main customers Exxon Mobile, Hess, Noble Energy, Marathon Oil, Bechtel, Devon and their vendors and also operate merchant vessels for United Africa Lines, Safmarine and Project Cargo vessels like BBC, CEC, Jumbo, etc.

Ship-planner / Barcelona• Stowage instructions for ZIM mainliners operating at Barcelona that is the West Med’s HUB and connection port between ZCS (Israel -USA), SAMEX (South America) and INDIZIM (IPBC) lines.• Coordinate loading/discharge operation with Terminal.• Coordinate containers’ transhipment operation.
