Business development for global companies in the Midwest. Consultancy and executive sales, with additional responsibilities to support multinational sales and group operations in Venezuela and Mexico.

Head of group benefits business. Designed and implemented a new strategy to improve cross-functional operational efficiencies, increase sales, diversifying business portfolio and turn-around group business, including a new underwriting pricing model and implementation strategy.

Engaged in multiple leadership positions across the insurance business, starting as Head of P&C in Valencia Regional office, and continued as National Chief Underwriter (marine and cargo), National Deputy Manager - Claims (P&C and marine claims), National Deputy Manager (Sales and Marketing), Regional General Manager for the Capital Region, and National Manager for P&C and Marine Lines, including Underwriting and Claims. Key accomplishments in the different leadership roles listed above included a 35% increase on portfolio and 10% in profitability (Regional General Manager – Capital Region) during a highly challenging period for the company and the country in general, 35% growth for marine lines (National Chief Underwriter), and lowering loss ratios of key lines in P&C and marine business (National Deputy Manager – Claims), among others.
