Mr. Bazan currently supervises the engineering and construction aspects of the commercial and residential projects at Banell Development, including entitlement, design and construction. This includes supervising Engineers, Architects and Contractors. Mr. Bazan oversees the preparation of cost analyses and feasibility reports for all projects. Responsibilities also include negotiating and preparing contracts with sub-consultants and contractors. He oversees staff workloads, scheduling and payments as well as supervises project managers and support personnel.

At Stuart Engineering, Mr. Bazan was a dynamic Project Manager and reported directly to the company’s President. PM responsibilities included managing construction projects in the office and on the field, as well as preparing proposals, contracts, project budgets, project schedules, directing Survey Crews, training Jr. Engineers, responding to RFIs and billing. Engineering responsibilities included supervising the preparation of entitlement and construction documents for commercial, residential, military, schools and capital improvement projects including site and ADA improvements; grading, erosion control, road and public improvement plans; water quality reports; sewer studies; hydrology studies; cost estimates; SWPPPs; parcel maps; topographic surveys; subdivision maps; RFPs; etc.

Mr. Bazan joined PG&E as a summer intern while still pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He made such an impression on his bosses that they created a new corporate position to keep him working part-time during the school year. At PG&E Mr. Bazan surveyed existing land and easement rights for PG&E’s utilities throughout the Bay Area. He also prepared mapping documents like easement plats, legal descriptions and Records of Survey and frequently visited power plants, substations, and transmission facilities.
