I am an experienced software engineer, specializing in embedded software, automation, and systems engineering for safety-critical, high rigor, regulated industries. My passion for all things in cutting edge science, tech, mobility, AI, and sustainability make me a highly multidisciplinary professional who is comfortable working on the hardware/software interface.I hold an undergraduate degree in applied computer science and physics from the University of Washington, and also an MS in computer science, with a focus on AI, machine learning, genetic algorithms, and evolutionary computation as a government-funded MEXT scholar at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. Moving forward, my goal is to combine my expertise in data science and AI with my past experience in embedded systems to develop reliable and high-quality software solutions for future AI driven transportation and robotics technologies.
