RICARDO COTTA is an Economist with Master´s Degree in Applied Economics at ESALQ/USP and an MBA at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) with more than 20 years of experience in Agribusiness and Food Industry.Entrepreneur and consultant after 10 years at Itambé where he responded as Business Development Director and Institutional Relations (3rd largest dairy company in Brazil with USD1bi of annual revenue). There he created a B2B and Food Service division that in 3 years made R$300M/year on sales. He joined Itambé in 2008 to develop a strategic movement on the Cooperative creating a corporate company. That movement was successfully completed in 2013, and since than he became a Director at the company. He is also an MBA Professor in Agribusiness Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).Before Itambé, he was Head of Technical Department at Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA) where he led several studies about agribusiness working with the Congress and Federal Executive. He also worked for two years at the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) where he was the first Director at the Department of Agribusiness International Promotion. He is also Member of the board of two Agritechs and Mentor at Endeavor.
