Responsible for designing power distribution (receptacles, circuiting, panel schedules, breaker sizes, feeder schedules, load calculations, fault current calculations), electrical conduit routing plans for telecommunication sites. •Prepares electrical construction drawings and specifications in conjunction with an architectural, structural and mechanical design team.•Prepares designs for electrical power distribution, standby power- distribution, and telecommunication grounding.•Prioritize and plan workload and coordinate deliverables with drafters to meet client deadlines.•Perform final construction inspection, to verify construction was done per approved plans •Conducts site visit surveys of buildings for the purpose of collecting design information related to electrical service, fire alarm, grounding and lightning protection as they relate to telecommunications facilities design.•Prepares field information documentation of site visit surveys.•Serves as the responsible charge engineer for all assigned projects.

Responsibilities include project engineering and design from concept to completion, and production of all documents, calculations and specifications for a variety of construction projects.•Coordinate with clients requirements for the installation of new equipment to implement GSM, UMTS, and LTE technology for most of the wireless telecommunication carriers. Design included wire sizing, riser diagrams, voltage drop, grounding, specification of electrical equipment, location of available power source for telecommunications compounds as well as building rooftop installations.•Services include installation of additional equipment on existing facilities, as well as new facilities in existing communications compound and telecommunications sites on Building rooftops, power upgrades, change of electrical systems from sub-feeding to utility fed system. •Design of emergency backup power solutions for telecommunications sites. Design included installation of diesel, propane, and Natural gas generators; Battery backup, UPS systems.
