Hotel Bahia Principe. Bavaro, Dom. Rep.

Lead the installation and commissioning of a Trigeneration / CCHP (Combined Cooling, Heat and Power) in the Hotel Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro fascilities. Project consist in the implementation of 2x1MW GE Jenbacher Units with his respective Water Heat Exchangers for heat recovering and cooling as well; and the impressive 600 tons absorption chiller. These project was part of the CEPM (Consorcio Energetico Punta Cana-Macao) strategies to provide top quality service to their valuable customer by one of the most efficient project in the area.

Bávaro. Dominican Republic

• Responsible for the O & M of cogeneration power plants (electricity, hot water, steam / thermal oil) located at the facilities of several major customers in the area, as well as satellite power generation strategically distributed throughout the concession area (41.0 MW). • Responsible for the definition of preventive and predictive maintenance plans and indicators to ensure maximum availability and efficiency of the power units. • Coordinate the issuance of MOR (Monthly Operating Report) and tracking technical and economically operational KPIs. • Supervise and coordinate operational improvement projects (steam, compressed air, HFO processing, light, etc.), availability of Units recovery after major breakdowns (2 changes of broken crankshaft Hyundai HiMSEN 21/32) and power recovery (overhaul) Units MAN 18V 28/32, CATs 3512 and 3516, Hyundai HiMSEN 9 and 6R 21/32, Wartsila 9R32 and Deutz TBD620.• Contract Management (short and long term) outsourcing support activities such as cleaning, technical support staff.

• Responsible for planning preventive and predictive maintenance program of Wärtsilä Diesel Engines 38 type A and auxiliarysystems.• Strong collaboration with colleagues and manufacturers, to ensure optimum conditions of maintenance.• Develop work plans in Microsoft Project, guidelines, startup and shutdown procedures to critical systems within a plant to guide personnel. (Ensure resources are available, scheduled, and qualified for a certain planned work).• Responsible for generating maintenance and upgrade reports.• Work together with quality control department to obtain and maintain ISO9001:2000, ISO14001:2004, OSHAS18001 certification.• Strong collaboration with the financial and administrative team in planning, monitoring and control O & M budgets.• Generation and Tracking of operating indicators.

Diesel La Vega Power Plant

• Responsible for planning preventive and predictive maintenance of MAN Diesel Engines 18V 48/60 type A and auxiliary systems.• Responsible for generating maintenance reports.• Managment of Techmain (Maintenance Software Application) and control of traceability and historic asset (generation of data base, data sheets, etc).
