Despite having a strong background in finance, my career has led me to specialize increasingly in the management of startups and internal corporate ventures. I have also been member of the board of diferentes companies that have played a significant role in BBVA´s digital transformation.Currently, I serve as CEO in BBVA Technology, which employs more than 3,000 software engineers who are key contributors to building and operating BBVA's technology.I am extremely convinced of the importance of leading highly motivated teams to make things happen. I live in Madrid (Spain) and I am proud father of three children.
