I served as second in command to direct operations and administration for the largest international foreign military sales depot in the world (FMS), managing a workforce of 100+ and providing Afghan fighting forces with a consistent supply of sustainment materials. Key Initiatives:✦ Played an integral role in the restructuring of the FMS, Kabul way-point sustainment hub, resulting in a leaner and more robust Afghan logistics network✦ Monitored progress of operations, project and program execution to achieve delivery, reliability and service objectives as well as to reduce operational risks and optimize running times.Selected Achievements:✦ Served as second in command to direct operations and administration for the largest international foreign military sales depot in the world, managing a workforce of 100+ and providing Afghan fighting forces with a consistent supply of sustainment materials. ✦ Participated in key meetings between the higher echelons of the US transportation command and Afghan command in an effort to reform FMS protocols and enhance supply chain efficiency.✦ Bench-marked external companies related to supply chain performance, implementing best in class tools and processes.✦ Served in an advisory and consultant role for leading members of the Afghan Ministry of Defense and Afghan Ministry of interior. ✦ Directed the transfer of over $100M+ in sustainment material to the Afghan Army and police, to include but not limited to the following: Advanced Harris vehicle communication systems and personnel Harris Systems, Full Army and Police uniforms, Weapons parts/accessories, Second generation aerial drone systems, Misc Special Forces equipment, Etc. ✦ Drove deployment of multiple cost-saving initiatives, saving the US government and Afghan government thousands of dollars every month as efficiency was achieved.
