• Ensuring compliance with Bank of Mozambique notices and circulars; • Develop internal company policies and ensure that they are respected;• Ensure that the Bank has a clearly defined programme to comply with the laws within the scope of the CBCFT/AML;• Understand and achieve financial crime enforcement and stakeholder expectations through understanding of KYC/AML, Risk Models and other related policies;• Ensure compliance with the production of required reports in order to escalate all suspected financial crime, AML incidents (including high risk red flags) to the financial crime enforcement manager within the required SLAs (to enable further investigation/due diligence and reporting to all stakeholders);• Updating management and the Board of Directors on the organisation's compliance with laws and regulations;• Take measures to deal with non-compliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them;• Carry out regular audits to identify potential weaknesses and situations of non-compliance;• Communicating with employees and making sure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
