I completed an MBA at HEC Paris.Prior to this, I worked for eight years in M&A and Debt Restructuring advisory at Alfaro, Dávila y Scherer, a leading investment banking firm and Moelis & Company's strategic ally in Mexico. Starting there as an analyst and mastering the basics led me to increased levels of responsibility, becoming an Associate and then earning an early promotion to Vice President. I led the execution of M&A and debt restructuring processes, closing 11 projects amounting to USD 5.3bn in aggregated transaction value. Some of these include the sales of BlackRock’s oil refining assets in Mexico, Blackstone’s Tierra Mojada 874MW power plant, and Vitro’s glass packaging business, as well as the debt restructuring of Mexico City’s Hyatt Regency.Alongside work and studies, I voluntarily mentor and advise startups and SMEs principally on financial matters to achieve growth, maximize profits, and raise funds. I am a sports and nature enthusiast who regularly practices football, rock climbing and mountaineering.I studied a B.A. in Financial Management in Tecnológico de Monterrey (honors).
