My first experience of structured social life (besides my parent’s upbringing) was a high school education at Colégio Militar, a boarding school under the purview of the Army, where young boys learn the official national curriculum while engaging in basic military drills and an array of physical activities and sports, all encompassed by a formal hierarchy and an internal esprit de corps.Next was the Undergraduate Degree on Tourism Management at ESHTE (Estoril High Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies). Theoretical learning complemented with months long hands-on job experience at various fine hotels around Lisbon and Spain.After school I joined a major Bank institution, a very interesting experience from which I believe I drew some knowledge about financial matters.Entrepreneurship linked to a vision of excellence of service in the tourism sector was my growing desire. 4u2enjoy was then a startup in this area, recently created by a longtime friend and an associate. I joined the project shortly after and a few years later ended up owning the brand.The years 2020, 2021 and part of 2022 were particularly difficult due to the sanitary and travel restrictions imposed on people all over the world.4u2enjoy celebrated its 10th birthday in October 2024. Together we are fine tuning details and consolidating an already well-established reputation of our brand.Faithful to my vision of 10 years ago, our business is predicated on a continuous strive to make every single customer experience a unique and exquisite one.Though based around Lisbon, 4u2enjoy has been developing partnerships and contacts with sister companies and several tourism and wine producers in the famous Douro wine region.Our next challenge will be the beautiful region of Alentejo, where a number of contacts and points of interest are being worked out.Our pledge is to continue to improve our attention to customer service detail while broadening the scope of fine destinations and activities.
