• Coordinate logistics of safety meetings ensured weekly attendance by all personnel, and track and maintain accountability records. • Participate in weekly managerial safety meetings and assist in the evaluation and direction of all safety programs.• Represent the company by attending safety meetings for other companies. • Conduct Monthly Company safety meetings, foreman meetings on-site. • Perform corporate audits, inspections, and root cause investigations to ensure compliance by company personnel and sub-contractors. • Train Safety Professionals/Personnel, safety procedures, and permit writing requirements. • Implement and amend safety procedures for the site-specific building. • Work with management to enforce proper safety procedures • Conduct OSHA Reporting, Statistical Trending, and Incident/Accident Investigations, as well as analysis; and. • Provide Professional authority for the project on all safety and health procedures, and OSHA standards. • Update all Health and Safety documentation and write a new Safety Program designed to site-specific operations.• Initiate all injury and incident investigations to include root cause analysis and reporting all findings to upper management and client representatives. • Assist in leading incident investigations to ensure proper corrective actions are implemented and future incidents are prevented. • Provide leadership and guidance regarding safety practices, workers' compensation claims, and incident investigations. • Perform incident investigations, audit permits, review job safety analysis/job hazards analysis. • Implement JSA (Job Safety Analysis) program, which consisted of assessing job tasks and eliminate hazards. • Create and implement current Roy Rock’s safety plans such as Hazwoper, Crane Plan, Scaffold Plan, etc. • Reduce the EMR during my lead at the Safety Department. Managed a staff of two safety officers. • Represent my company to negotiate with OSHA all citations were withdrawn.
