D&E PI EUV SI Mgmt & Verif EXE BMM[Development & Engineering, Performance & Integration, Extreme Ultra-Violet, System Integration, Management & Verification, EXE:5000 (EUV High-NA), Bottom Main Module]Key areas of responsibility:- Maintain, describe and align the Valid Configuration (VC) definitions of a product and its preliminary versions for its integration and verification, as well as its commercial version for release to Manufacturing and Service;- Contribute to transfers of Proto (both at receival & handover back) by delivering advice on VC compliancy to system specific config engineers;- Enable usage of VC’s in other processes, e.g. Change and BoM management, machine planning;- Capture, Maintain and Guard the list of Critical Config Items (CCI) per product, being HW/SW/settings that distinguish VC’s/system performance;- Guide the Functional Clusters (FC’s) on correct CCI usage (e.g. BB level, re identification, naming convention);- Drive Compliancy between the actual configuration and the target configuration. Report on the deviation;- Deliver advice/input for High Level Integration Strategy (HLIS) go/no go;- Deliver input for System Integration status report.

I feel proud of each and every achievement attained towards getting the newest NXE3400B model ready for production. In this, my job mission is mainly to: - Define, control and execute the integration of the various subsystems into a complete product; - Ensuring efficient and effective integration activities on the machines, by: - Provide technical support to other D&E engineers; - Align with different stakeholders from different departments, guaranteeing that all different needs are met upon proto-machine time usage; - Keeping assigned machines in perfect state, i.e. hard and software, configuration up to date and well-functioning; - Review and prepare test plans; - Determine whether issues are related to new design or proto system and solve and report the issues; - Ensuring safe working environment and work according to 5S principles;Our department aims for reducing both cost and lead time for system testing and integration while guaranteeing product quality

Scholarshiped research work for an industrial Chinese manufacturer entity, Dongfeng Motor Corporation (东风汽车公司), with close interest from the Chinese Government, both sponsoring an academic effort to fully design an industrial vehicle with innovative features, amongst which my contribution went to the suspension system design and optimization. In this regard, background knowledge in structural mechanics, mechanical behaviour of materials, mechanical design and computational mechanics got to be applied. I own developed a MATLAB program able to output diverse information on the structural/mechanical behaviour of different suspension layouts being considered, for which an Elastomechanics Transfer-Matrix Method (TMM) is applied. This method shares the same mathematical core with FEM, however, given the revamped topology proposed, it is able to bestow a leading edge in a few performance parameters.

(by invitation from Professor Doctor Jingshan Zhao)Closely interacted and assisted an extraordinary group of twenty-four Chinese undergraduates, strictly comprising the brightest students national-wise in the field of Mechanical Engineering, on which was Tsinghua’s first attempt at administering a course fully taught in English. In this regard, I actively sought to provide interesting life applied challenges, weekly quizzes, homework assignments, extra tutoring classes, seminars and I was even trusted with the privilege of giving them a regular class on Mechanical Fatigue. All of these, with the ultimate goal of supplying the necessary tools not only to handle all of the course’s theoretical contents, as to promote their individual inquisitive spirit and capacity to better analyse and solve mechanical problems as a team. Inclusively, each group had a final project, where, after having identified a problem, a full-scale (1:1) originally designed robotic solution could be built.
