Working for an Operation and Permanent Control Team (OPC) within the department of Financial Markets Strategy & Risks. The OPC is a key component of the first line of defense as regards of the management of operational risks and permanent controls. The main team goal was to assure that all OPC teams around the globe were fulfilled with their requirements, mainly in terms of identification and assessment of risks and controls, procedures and organizations, controls and actions plans, recommendations (internal and external including client audit recommendation), financial markets incidents, dashboard and reporting and Anti Fraud controls.- Weekly reports otimizations (KPI's), using Advanced Excel, VBA, Alteryx and Tableau (eg: using VBA was able to optimize 1h:30/2h of workload in 2 min; using Alterxy and Tableau was able to optimize 8h of workload in 30 min);- Weekly database reconciliation through information processing in order to prepare weekly reports;- Alteryx and Tableau tools implementation in the team and consequent presentation to managers in Paris and London;- Creating Tableau Dashboards for the team (Front-End);- Database Alteryx development (Back-End) with the purpose of feeding all incident reports sent to our teams around the world;- Participation in job interviews with the intention of hiring new team members.

Since 1984, they have developed an extraordinary range of tours and services and grown from a team of 3 to a family of over 200 employees.- Producing weekly and daily reports with important KPI's.- Fuel consumption daily analysis for entire fleet (65 buses), with the main objective of perceiving and resolving the existence of possible discrepancies.- Main interlocutor with the supplier of security systems for entire fleet and responsible for the full functioning of all security cameras.- Responsible for the first phase regarding the payroll processing for 40 workers.- In charge of processing payments of all invoices, credit and delivery notes.- Changing internal procedures.

My dutties at Golden Tours included:- Accounting, on a daily basis, all sales receipts from all salespeople in the company.- Preparing the daily sales and discount report for the General Director and CEO.

Consultant in a team project for the most important client of the company. Client Project CTT Group’s (Biggest postal service company operating in Portugal):- Because our software platform couldn’t give a proper response to such a big client and because of my previous experience, a team of 4 people alongside with a business Intelligence firm, were designated to specifically and properly deal with the problem, consequently I was hired again due to my strong analytical and problem solving skills and my broad knowledge of internal procedures. - I made the difference by ensuring the conception and implementation of a tool/program, and a particular set of key rules capable for managing the flow of information and to accurately plan and control all operation of our major client, using just Excel and VBA. In addition, I was the only one with the know-how capable to establish a decent and understandable relationship between our company and the business intelligence firm.- I was also in charge for all file management, operational report and for the designing and readjusting of internal procedures with optimization purposes.- Furthermore, our team accomplished in less than 10 months what was supposed to be done in 1 year (7000 medical exams), which was a major success.

- In mid April-14, I started working in Medicisforma as an Assistant Director, reporting directly to the CEO.- My main responsibility was related to the elaboration and Implementation of the Monthly Management Report with operational, financial and economic data from different departments, which permitted a constant interaction with all the levels of the business across many functions while analyzing profitability and productivity of each department. Additionally, I was also involved in creating reports and presentations for executive level meetings. - In respect to optimization processes, one of the main goals was to reduce client manager’s time consuming tasks and subsequently to increase productivity, which I did by identifying and eliminating unnecessary paperwork through newly automated procedures along with our computer engineer.- I was also assigned for some projects, reporting directly to the CEO and shareholders, with implications in business decisions and strategies. The company was faced with a dilemma to where should launch salesman across the country, as a result we decided that the better way to deal with the problem was through a geographical survey and analysis at 20 districts and 308 municipalities, with reference to customer portfolio, surrounding competitors and regional economic capacity. This project was converted in a 50 pages document embodied with insights not only concerning the problem above but also revealing some threats and opportunities to where they should increase or decrease their business activities. Furthermore, I was also responsible for presenting a competitor research, through the identification of key variables regarding financial information for a sample of 40 competitors. - Other occasional tasks included helping other colleagues for a better use of Excel, intervening in the budget and weekly reporting concerning operational efficiently and productivity.
