I am a passionate storyteller and strategic thinker, with over 30 years of global corporate communications experience, helping brands build Trust, Engagement and Advocacy. Throughout my career, I have been successful creating and executing strategic communications in three global corporations in different industry sectors including Information Technology, Cyber-Security and Extractive Industries.Prior to joining Newmont Mining in 2014 as Group Executive, Global Communications, based in Denver, Colorado, I worked at AVG Technologies based in Prague, Czech Republic as Corporate Vice-President, Global Communications where, among other things, I developed and executed the communications strategy for the company’s IPO at the NYSE in 2012. For 15 years, I worked in the Corporate Communications Group at Microsoft Corporation. Four years In the Latin American Region, six years in the Corporate Headquarters in Redmond, Washington, and five years in the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, based in Munich, Germany.I’m currently member of the Board of Directors for Ch’ieltik Foundation in Mexico and provide strategic communications advice to Fundacion Pro Ninos de la Calle and the Mexican Rugby Federation. All three of them, volunteering roles, are focus on institutional brand awareness and reputation, and improving storytelling and digital marketing communications.
