The project "Evaluation of the performance of free-space high-capacity optical communication systems," intends to establish a bridge between the theory of propagation of optical beams in the atmosphere and the evaluation of the real performance of the systems of free-space optical communications, established under different conditions. Development of optics wave code for the propagation of optical waves through the turbulent atmosphere using Python and Matlab®. Hands-on in Labwork and experimental setups.

Design and fabrication of a pulse position modulation (PPM) receiver front-end for wireless optical links. Within the framework of the Small Optical Link (SOL) project, jointly developed by UPC, ICFO, INTA and ADTelecom.

Team leader in the design, manufacturing and support for a Xilinx’s FPGA based embedded Modbus-RTU server. This core provided communication to analog and digital I/O proprietary boards with an industry standard protocol.

Management System for the public transportation service.Project approved and financed by the government institute for the Science and Technology development, COLCIENCIAS. The objective of the project is to develop an electronic system using embedded microprocessors, to give management tools to the public transportation utilizing devices such as GPS, and wireless modules in order to provide telemetry to the vehicle through an IEEE802.11 interface.
