• Lead corporate environmental strategy for 4 production plants and 180 poultry farms. • Involved in the implementation of HACCP systems and ISO 9001: 2008 certificates. • Processed and marketing of more than 5,000 monthly tons of chicken manure fertilizer, equivalent to 90% of the waste generated on farms. • Selected and implemented two systems of wastewater treatment with capacity for 300 cubic meters per hour in poultry processing and incubation plants, and COD reduced in 60%. • Improved processing practices through cleaner production and eco-efficiency (water and energy consumption reduction, change in raw materials, processes and products redesign, etc). • COD reduced in: poultry processing plant, from 5000+ ppm to 600- ppm, and in incubation plant from 1000+ ppm to 150- ppm. PM reduced from 500+ to 150- mg/m3 and SO2 reduced from 500+ to 200- mg/m3 in 3 boilers in rendering plant and poultry feed plant. • Developed tools for environmental control laws according with requirements, policies and regulations. • Managed department budget of USD $270,000 per year. • Empowered 4,000+ employees annually in environmental techniques (recycle, waste management, wastewater treatment, sustainability, clean production, eco-efficiency, etc). • Implemented Operational Environmental Control in every mission and support processes.
