I am passionate about the information security area, acting mainly as an information security risk manager. I help companies understand the level of risks they are exposed to, prioritize these risks confronting with the enterprise risk tolerance, and presenting countermeasures following the main existing standards as well as respecting the existing organizational culture. As the main result of this work, I understand that there is the possibility of making the internet a safer place (and the sense that we're making people's lives better), either through technical or organizational measures.I believe that knowledge sharing is one of the main actions to develop a better society, besides stimulating self-development. Among some actions, I try to contribute by participating in scientific events, as well as acting as a professor, advising students, and mentoring co-workers and friends whenever possible.
