About Ricardo De Vecchi Galindo

I am a green infrastructure advisory leader with over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, working at IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. My mission is to foster sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) by mobilizing private investment and innovation for green infrastructure projects in the region. As the Head of Green Infrastructure Advisory and Fundraising, I leverage my expertise in public-private partnerships (PPPs), international negotiations, and cross-sectoral strategy to originate, design, and execute complex and strategic multi-sectoral infrastructure advisory engagements for LAC countries. I also co-led the creation of a PPP Single Window, a platform that facilitates the coordination and collaboration among IDB Group entities and external partners for PPP project development and financing. In addition, I contribute to the knowledge generation and dissemination of best practices and lessons learned on sustainable infrastructure, climate change, and development banking.
