Ricardo Laganaro is an Emmy® and Venice Film Festival award-winning Brazilian director. His most recent piece, "The Line," won "Best VR Experience" at the 76th Venice Film Festival and the 2020 Primetime Emmy® Award for “Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Programming.”At ARVORE, Laganaro now serves as the Chief Creative Officer, leading the company's overall creative direction alongside the CEO. He oversees all projects as the head of Creative Directors, ensuring that each project is a native extended reality (XR) experience. He also guides the ideation processes and continues to develop innovative frameworks for creating immersive XR projects, including the Pixel Ripped franchise, YUKI, and others. Additionally, he continues to provide creative direction for in-house projects.Beyond his role as a Creative Director, Ricardo is an international speaker who has graced the stages of some of the world’s most prestigious events, including twice at SXSW in Austin, Texas, where he explored the depths of immersive technologies. His speaking engagements also span CCXP Experience Brasil, Wired Festival Brasil, Oculus Connect 4 (USA), Mediamorfosis (Argentina and Mexico), Demand Solutions by the IDB (Chile), VR Days (Nederlands), MediaTech Hub Conference (Germany), Kaohsiung Film Festival (Taiwan) among others.
