Mr. Lozoya started his professional career working for an environmental laboratory. He was hired as a bilingual Chemical Engineer in charge of the international operations of the laboratory serving the US/Mexico border. He served a dual role as technical representative assisting industrial clients and environmental consultants with their sampling needs. As a way to better assist clients, Mr. Lozoya developed a clear understanding of the Mexican environmental regulatory framework. Since 2001, Mr. Lozoya has been in charge of the international operations of Adastra Ecological Services, Inc. (formerly ECM Environmental Services, Inc.) providing professional EHS consulting services on both sides of the border. Mr. Lozoya has assisted numerous clients in Mexico to obtain the required environmental permits, to prepare responses to Notices of Violation and official requests from government agencies, in facility closure procedures, in remediation and environmental cleanup projects and in hazardous waste management aspects. Mr. Lozoya has participated in numerous EHS audits in Mexico and the USA. As an experienced auditor, Mr. Lozoya brings the ability to identify obvious and potential compliance and safety issues and has the knowledge to review or prepare corrective action plans. Mr. Lozoya has assisted numerous clients with the applicability to Mexican rules to specific situations or conditions in order to achieve or maintain compliance.
