Hi, I'm Ricardo Reyes Mir, Chilean and 53 years on top. Widower with two daughters who encourage me every day. I consider myself a seeker of dreams. I think fear apprehend us and dreams free us. Dreams for me have no limits and therefore achieveing them is my every day objective. I attended public school in my childhood, where I learned that nothing was given and if you wanted things you had to go get them and keep them with strength and tenacity. In high school, I realized that achievements were directly proportional and a reflection of effort. I studied a lot and like all young boys in those years I had fun and fell in love. It was normal. I went to study metallurgical engineering at the Technical University Federico Santa María of Valparaiso. That was all I wanted to study, nothing else interested me. I graduated at 22. Young and inexperienced. Then, I studied Industrial Engineering graduating in 1988, dreaming about having my own company, not to be a suit and tie employee. Although I had very tempting offers that made me hesitate away of that dream, I started in the late eighties, a project named Bomm Ltda with friends, making dental alloys. During many years of work I have gone through ups and downs in my moods, but my personality, education and upbringing gave results and not surrender. I'm in charge of this eminently technology company in sensitive areas such as derivatives of health today. I have traveled many countries. I have learned from many cultures. I have made many friends everywhere and I have taken good wine. I am an observer. I consider myself an eternal student in learning and every new day is a gift with a new challenge. I like to read, write and talk. I like having friends and I still like to live.

  In the college years I worked assisting teachers in various academic topics: Introduction to Engineering, Metallurgy applied metallurgical processes and solid physics research. Also on researchs aimed at creating new dental alloys using aluminum and copper-silver-palladium, research funded by Fondecyt. Since 1988 I have worked to establish a company in the health care business. Establishing the first factory of dental alloys in the country and becoming distributor of Export Dental, a consortium consisting of Italian companies focused on dental equipment. Currently Bomm also gets involved in the mining and medical areas, especially xray equipment. I currently work as partner and general manager of the company.
