Responsible for the technical support to the most important Dow and Rohm and Haas’ businesses in LATAM, in the division named Process Chemicals and Biocides (PC&B), Dow Personal Care and Dow Microbial Control. Activities involved supporting, promoting, adapting and even developing new technologies, services and products for LATAM region, essentially with focus on specialties. Main products and technologies included biocides for consumer products and industrial applications, rheology modifiers, hair fixative resins, suspending agents and opacifiers polymers for household and personal care products, organic specialties (specialty amines and sodium borohydrate) for industrial applications, dyes and markers for petroleum industry, ion exchange resins for industrial applications, among others. Responsible for 5 researchers located in two technical sales services laboratories in LATAM region, located in Mexico and Brazil, which counted with two Microbiology laboratories, a formulation and an analytical laboratory. Responsible for coordination of 11 other third laboratories in LATAM region, which support the business in the countries the companies did not have their own facilities.
