Writing policy reports and memos to recommend strategies to improve housing quality, affordability, and sustainability at NYC’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development

Conducting community-engaged research to address NYC flood risks and environmental injustice through urban design, policy, advocacy, and community partnerships under the Resilient Coastal Communities Project at Columbia’s Center for Sustainable Urban Development Analyzing city emergency flood response, climate resilience, and community-building plans and learning from community partners to understand challenges and opportunities for empowerment

Researching public problems, learning community engagement skills, writing memos, and organizing a newsletter based on current events which relate to GovLab’s problem-solving ethos.
