I currently hold the position of Corporate Industrial Director at Vidrala, a leading Group in the manufacturing of glass containers for the food industry, located in Llodio, Álava (Spain) and with 9 production centers in Spain, Portugal, Brazil and the United Kingdom. Prior to asuming my current role, I worked as Glass Operations Director for the factories that Vidrala owned in Italy and the United Kingdom, and previously held the position of Plant Manager at the Vidrala factory located in Llodio, Álava (Spain).Before joining Vidrala Group, I served as Plant Manager at Alcoa, a global industry leader in bauxite, alumina and aluminum products. Located in Amorebieta, Bizkaia (Spain), the factory has casting house, hot rolling, cold rolling and finishing facilities.Before Alcoa, I enjoyed a successful 15-year career at Cabot Corp., a multinational chemical company based in Boston whose main business is the production of Carbon Black. I developed my work in the factory located in Zierbena, Bizkaia (Spain), promoting from the position of Process Engineer to Production Manager. I had the chance to be a member of a group specialized in global improvement projects in the field of Manufacturing.Looking back on my career, I am extremely proud of my track record and working in the companies and projects I was involved in and achieving efficiency improvements and growth. But what I am most passionate about is creating high-performing teams and ensuring a safe, incident-free workplace for all employees.
