•Rigging including flare boom installation and removal for Halliburton, Expro and Schlumberger on drillers.•Crane rigging assist on all maintenance • Crane inspection and load testing for major gas, oil and renewable energy company’s.• Lifeboat davit systems testing and inspection offshore.•Fixed lifting equipment testing and inspection including padeyes, runway beams, swing jibs, powered hoist.•Loose lifting equipment inspection, test and manufacture wire slings, shackles, snatch blocks etc.• Lifting machines inspection, test and servicing overhead cranes, powered hoists, pullifts and chain blocks etc•Lifting equipment surveys to current legislation on oil and gas platforms, drilling rigs, wind turbine jackups and dive vessels.•Load test, NDT and visual inspections on containers/cargo carrying units to EN 12079, B.S 7072 and D.N.V standards

Offshore / Onshore

After completing 2weeks work experience here in 2003, I was giving an apprenticeship in 2004. In the 6 years I worked at SSCS lifting I covered: -•Lifeboat davit systems testing and inspection offshore-2007 onwards.•Fixed lifting equipment testing and inspection including pad eyes, runway beams, swing jibs, powered hoist.•Loose lifting equipment inspection, test and manufacture wire slings, shackles, snatch blocks etc.•Lifting machines inspection, test and servicing overhead cranes, powered hoists, Pullifts and chain blocks etc•Lifting equipment surveys to current legislation on oil and gas platforms, drilling rigs and dive vessels. -2007 onwards.•Load test, NDT and visual inspections on containers/cargo carrying units to EN 12079, B.S 7072 and D.N.V standards.•Carrying out and running LOLER inspections for major RAF contract on bases in Cyprus, Gibraltar, Belfast and all across the UK.
