Ric brings valuable experience in developing innovative programs, building strategic relationships and bringing together resources to solve funding, marketing, and organizational challenges for both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. Ric has more than 30 years experience in developing for-profit and not-for-profit sector organizations. In addition to working numerous years in an academic setting, he has owned and/or managed a number of small to medium size businesses. Through his extensive network of friends and business contacts he has developed a reputation for getting things done and lives by Harry S. Truman’s “You can accomplish anything in life …providing you don’t care who gets the credit”. Described as a Catalyst (a la Starfish and the Spider by Ori Brafman and Rod Beckstrom) and the consummate volunteer, he has been recognized for his involvement in numerous community organizations. He remains active the community and international level through his involvement as a member of the Rotary Club of Fredericton Sunrise, the global Water and Sanitation Rotary Action Group, and as Past President of Partners for Youth.

Ric returned to Ross Ventures (www.rvl.ca) as Managing Director for a two-year term in February 2012 following a 33 year hiatus from the company. He began his association with RVL as Manager of the Club Cosmopolitan in Moncton in the late 1970s and wrapped up his second engagement with the company March 21, 2014. In addition to his capacity as co-founder and President of GreenNexxus, Ric lead a small, but highly effective team, in the management of Ross Ventures. He directly oversaw commercial sales, retail leasing, hospitality division, manages key/senior client relationships and exclusively represents the company in matters of Hospitality and commercial real estate. Ric was engaged to manage the day to day operations, build the business and secure the maximum possible return for the family over the medium to long term. Ross Ventures is a well-established, New Brunswick based, family owned and operated business founded by The Honourable James W. Ross and has been a leader in the hospitality and real estate business in southern New Brunswick for more than 35 years.
