▪ Provides inner city students with individual and small group counseling. Teaches classroom SEL lessons on different topics (i.e. growth mindset, feelings, kindness, personal space, manners, hygiene, mindfulness, etc.). Provides community resources to support students and families for additional assistance and information. Responsible for organizing and facilitating multiple Parent Breakfasts which provide parents with a presentation and discussion on different subjects to help them support their child's academic and personal/social growth and development.▪ Holds other titles such as Teacher Mentor, Head Baseball Coach, Gesu Justice League (antibullying club) Coordinator, Diversity and Inclusion Committee Member, Middle States Co-Chair, Lateness Coordinator, Speak Up! Planning Team Member and Facilitator, Soft Skills Committee Member, and G.E.M (after school program) Facilitator.▪ Created Counseling Website and Virtual Counseling Office filled with different resources for students, staff, and parents/guardians during remote learning.
