Keely Thorne Events is a full service event planning company in Houston, TX.

I directed a 5-person sales team at A Fare Extraordinaire, a luxury event planning and culinary production company located in Houston, Texas. AFE produced over 600 events a year that range from 5 to 1000 guests, corporate, non profit and private clients.

While serving as Director, I had also maintained the title of Senior Event Producer, generating roughly 30% of company sales for A Fare Extraordinaire. I successfully maintained a large portfolio of corporate, private and non-profit clients, including the account for the company's largest client.

While at Texas Exes, I built connections with prospective students, current students, faculty and staff through the use of events, programs and leadership development opportunities that ultimately fostered a lifetime of loyalty to the University of Texas and to the Texas Exes.

I hosted a 40-person travel group through 9 European countries over a 25 day period. I co-planned and executed group events, country briefings and safety training abroad. Presented informational lectures to interested travelers from campus community, resulting in 2 sold-out departures for the Texas Exes.

During my internship with ACC, I delivered 250+ classroom presentations to potential ACC Honors Program students, as well as developed and oversaw promotional events marketing the benefits and details for the Program. I worked closely with professors, parents and students on campus.
