Brad is a Partner for Ex Cat Construction based out of Newton, KS and Senior Estimator for Aspen Group in Frankfort, IL. He previously served as Vice President, Project Manager and Estimator for several projects with Coonrod & Associates for over 15 years. He has successfully estimated and managed projects in Wichita, Derby, Haysville, Cheney, Wamego, Manhattan, Liberal, Colby, Lakin, Spearville, Eureka and Greensburg, KS. Brad is a LEED Accredited Professional. He has managed the LEED process for Coonrod & Associates for the Kiowa County Courthouse, Kiowa County Jail, both in Greensburg, KS; and for the Greater Wichita YMCA: Central Family Branch in Wichita, KS. Brad has worked with numerous architects and engineers on various projects and in several types of construction. He has built new facilities as well as remodeled and renovated existing facilities. He has experience in educational, governmental, recreation, pools, healthcare, research labs, food service and athletic facilities to name a few. He is most familiar with CMAR management, concrete, masonry, steel and rough/finish carpentry as these are items self-performed by Coonrod & Associates. Having this self-performance knowledge is key to estimating a successful project. He is also skilled in pre-construction services in addition to full project management and closeout.Brad lives in Valley Center, KS with his wife, Katie, and his two children, Hayden-9 and Braelyn-7. He loves anything outdoors from hunting, fishing and camping and all outdoor sports. He prides himself in hard work, loyalty and dedication.
