It was disruptive to patient care, caused many stock-outs, and resulted much excess and stranded inventory. We were fully engaged and ordering in the MMIS system within two months; were using barcode scanners, had our item and vendor master built and collecting good datao Within 18-months of go-live, all of our lot/expirations are managed digitally in MMISo Crash carts are their own unique par areas so that we can manage the lot/expirations in MMIS instead of managing manually, which is inefficient and results in errorso I manage all Operations contracts, partnering with Accounting, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliance Show less
