I'm responsible for all facets of technology, except the main website, which is outsourced. This includes building their server/network environment, custom multi-lingual (with 50+ dialects based on village) desktop and mobile applications, and working directly with both the CEO of TCA along with TCA staff, which is mostly comprised of the villagers of Papua New Guinea. This is obviously very specialized work, as this software is designed to work with people from a 3rd world country. I've learned that programming on this level is very different than programming for first world countries, so it takes a special train of thought to build software like this. Most villagers lack a 6th grade education so software must be easy to use and understand. Regardless of all of that, this software is significantly improving TCA work output, as it's taking the pressure off manual processes and automating them instead. Data that used to have to be written down on paper and then transported (walked) up to 30 miles through the rainforest is now instantly uploaded into Mother Nature and immediately integrated into the entire eco-system that Mother Nature provides. Because of this, and for my first project with TCA, we've brought solar lighting to thousands of people where no previous source of light existed in their lives. They lived in total darkness. This was originally a year-long project but after building this software, surveying was completed in a mere 3 weeks. TCA is the only conservation organization getting anything done in PNG. Everyone else so far has fallen short of their objectives but I'm convinced it's because they lack the proper software to fulfill their obligations.This project has become so successful that the Australian government has asked us to add another 100 villages onto the project.The United Nations has even mentioned Mother Nature on their Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/undpinpng/photos/a.1480865902193586/2964402697173225

The goal was to bring celebrities and their fans together while simultaneously raising funds for the charities they support, creating an exciting and unique experience that currently does not exist in today's technology.I was brought onto the team because they did not know anyone else who could build the system they needed. I have always avoided startup groups because generally they always fail for one reason or another. However, this idea seemed very solid so I agreed to join the team. At the end of it all, I did successfully build out the system they needed, nearly single-handedly.
