CurrentStructural Analysis Tech Lead (Feb 2010-present)- Coordinate all Mechanical Systems stress and vibrational analysis activity within the Structural Analysis organization using Altair's Hyperworks Suite, ANSA, LS-PrePost, Nastran, and LS-Dyna. Analysis activity includes static linear and non-linear stress analysis, acceleration-time history for shock analysis, modal transient response, and random vibration. - Classified mine blast analysis using LS-Dyna to enhance crew survivability and evaluate vehicular systems when subjected to the affects of underground mines and IEDs.- Manage and distribute all analysis activity for the M1 Abrams and Stryker vehicles within the organization. Focus on program milestones, deliverables, and ensure compliance to all government requirements.Systems Engineering (May 08 – Jan 09): Roles and responsibilities as a Requirements Engineer:- Lead Lethality IPT in developing interface specifications between the following systems Primary Armament, Secondary Weapons, Gun/Turret Drive, Fire Control, and Target Acquisition for the next generation Abrams AED/M1E3 program- M1A2 Future Munitions - Coordinated vehicle system analyses to adapt Future Munitions (MRM, AMP, AKE rounds) on to the M1A2 SEP V2 platform. Included integration of the Ammo Data Link (ADL) and electronic communications within the existing vehicle electrical architecture.- High proficiency using DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System)Accomplishments- Developed action plan / schedule for completing the Abrams AED System Performance Specification.- Presented the interface requirements to the government for adopting the ADL on the existing M1A2
