Maintenance of System Tools, reporting and alerts, security patches, user and application access management, and periodic Server Health Checks.• Trained and Transitioned the role of “Intel - Command and Control” to four new leaders on two mid-sized commercial accounts. Concluded this training one week ahead of schedule.• Performed a knowledge transfer (KT) for two resources that reside and work in Bangalore, India for one of the fore mentioned commercial accounts. This KT involved Steady State processes and procedures as well as the role of “Intel Command and Control”. • Lead technical support of over 150 Windows/Intel Server Blades housed in fifteen IBM Blade Center Chassis for a large international customer.• Responsibilities included: Performing several Windows 2003/2008 server builds from a global image or building servers from the Windows Setup CD, regular security health checks and patching, functionality of the IBM server monitoring toolset, second and third level support of daily incidents. Citrix ConsultantInnovative Solutions Jun 2007 - Oct 2007Rochester, Ny• Client’s IT Systems Support Team did not have the depth of Citrix knowledge that they needed, therefore, I was contracted to support the CITRIX environment at St. Anne’s Community in Rochester, NY.• Responsibilities Addressed: Cleaned up the current Citrix Print environment and applied industry-recognized best practices that brought about HIPAA compliance for their print solution. This client also had recurring problems with their Citrix Secure Gateway. I researched and submitted a solution to my client that would resolve this using updated Citrix Hot Fixes along with some much-needed configuration changes. Another issue this customer was experiencing was a Security Certificate problem while attempting to use the Citrix Web Interface for St. Anne’s remote users. This was quickly resolved by requesting an updated Security Certificate from the previous issuer. As problems were addressed, I instructed and trained two of my client’s IT Staff members as well as the customer’s lead IT support resource.• The second customer I supported, for my client, was Morgan Services in Rochester, NY. This customer was in the middle of upgrading to Citrix Presentation Server v4.5 at that time. I assisted with problems that resulted from the upgrade. One of the issues was some print and scan difficulties experienced from new Thin Client platforms to several, network-attached / Multi-functional laser printers. -
