Orthopedics PA / Surgical 1st Assist.Performed physical assessments, preoperative clearance exams, participated in all in and out of hospital procedures, completed inpatient and outpatient orders, and then followed patients to discharge back to primary care following treatments.

Member of the command group, personally involved in Soldier MOS proficiency and deployment readiness.

Member of the hospital command group responsible for coordination of daily operations of RWBAHC. Restructured the 26,000 patient population within TRIWEST by reducing redundancies, screening active patient rosters, and restructuring an inefficient call center increasing access to care and earning a $150,000.00 performance grant from the Surgeon General of the U.S. Army. Attended super-user training in Medical Protection System (MEDPROS) and enacted a MEDPROS utilization requirement post-wide, increasing medical readiness from 36% to 93% in less than 7 months. Streamlined medical provider access to one on one training for MEDPROS and CHCS II EMR's with 100% utilization within 2 months of implementation.Primary instructor for TCCC/CMAST, and combat lifesaver courses (CLS) training post-wide Appointed as adjunct faculty to the Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute traveling throughout CONUS to deliver portions of the C3 course for deploying medical providers and nurses.

Mobilized under GWOT from Army Reserve TPU status to AD, filling a critical shortage of Drill Sergeants already in place at the DOD's primary military intelligence (MI) advanced initial training base (AIT). I addition to providing senior leadership and courses on Warrior Tasks and Drills to approximately 1600 AIT Soldiers, and primary instructor of all medical courses for AIT Soldiers across the 111TH MI BDE.
