Assisted in the development of a new Exercise Sport Science program and curriculum for the University. Initiated recruitment of students for the newly created program. Developed a network for student internships in the local and regional areas. Serve as an adjunct faculty member with experience in Sport Management and Principles of Coaching.

Increased athletic annual fund 48% and secured over $500,000 in three years. Secured major gift donations and sponsorship to fund two new scoreboards totaling over $80,000. Guided the addition of five varsity sports to the University including the hiring of a new head coaches. Renewed 100% of sponsorship agreements while increasing 75% of the contracts. Oversight of all external relations within the athletic department including athletic communications and marketing. Improved student-athlete retention rate from 82% to 88% while increasing the number of student-athletes by 18%.

With the assistance of two other co-interim Directors, lead the department of athletics during the transitional period lasting approximately four months. Working closely with the President and Vice-President for Advancement, we developed a strategic plan for athletics within the framework of the University's strategic plan.

Starting in a newly created position, I have developed a new athletic booster club, sponsorship program and annual fund drive. In the first year of existence, the Sabre Club has over 250 members and raised over $40,000. In addtion, the exclusive sponsorship program has raised $180,000 for the athletic department. Recently, I secured major gift funding for two new scoreboards and sold advertising rights to those additions for five years. Finally, I developed and implemented a new Homecoming structure that includes an Athletic Benefit Golf Outing and Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

Responsible for planning, organizing and implementation of the golf outing and dinner. Planned and solicited over $12,000 in sponsorships for the event and over $25,000 in total revenue. Finally, actively recruited over 100 participants for the golf outing.

In charge of academic reviews, initial eligibility and amateurism evaluation for all incoming PSAs. Responsible for updating and maintaining CAi, LSDBi, AMA Online and NCAA Eligibility Center Portal. In charge of playing and practice seasons and countable athletic related activities oversight. Finally, develop and distribute rules education to student-athletes, coaches, administrators, PSAs and high school administrators.

Developed and initiated a swimming and diving fundraiser, ‘Adopt a Redbird’, that generated over $10,000. Organized and managed the athletic department’s internal fund drive that resulted in a 90% participation rate. Assist in game day and other special events for the entire athletic department that consist of talking with donors and meeting their needs. Finally, help staff and organize volunteers for Football and Basketball Donor events.

Responsible for attending four in-person meetings throughout the year. In charge of updating the Conference, Commissioner, and other student-athletes on any key legislative issues and changes at the National level. Elected member of Student Athlete Reinstatement Committee, Nominations Sub-Committee and Community Engagement Sub-Committee.

Assisted Athletic Director and other staff members with Annual Alumni Golf Outing, specifically organized student-athlete volunteer with even assignments. Assisted the Associate Athletic Director to determine student-eligibility for continuing and incoming student-athletes. Finally, organized and managed Hall of Fame Dinner and Student-Athlete Academic Luncheon.
