Responsibilities include negotiating contracts for hospital, personal care, healthcare, and private label raw materials (chemicals and packaging materials), drafting of contracts, and management of inventory. Accountable for independent project management of re-work, third party manufacturing and product display projects.• Negotiate pricing, terms, and duration of contracts with multiple suppliers for a diverse portfolio of chemicals such as Isopropyl Alcohol, Ethanol, and Propylene Glycol managing $50 million total budget spend.• Develop a strategic supplier relationship program for best possible quality, service, and pricing to determine appropriate strategy with numerous suppliers for contract duration.• Assist third-party contract manufacturer lead in developing contract relationships, logistics and supplies for capacity overflow manufacturing.• Process management role on cross-functional teams (Procurement, QA, Engineering & Manufacturing, Accounting, Customer Service, Sales and R&D) to create and sustain processes, and manage issue resolution for raw material quality across three North American manufacturing facilities.• Conduct GMP site visits of new and potential suppliers for the purpose of education on item class and assessment of supplier capability/capacity.

Responsible for negotiation of price and the purchase and management of an inventory of over 600 raw materials with a $100 million total budget spend.• Negotiated contracts with diverse suppliers (distributors, brokers, manufacturers) globally to obtain competitive pricing on extensive portfolio of commodities and chemicals ranging from Propylene Glycol, Ethanol, Soybean Meal, Cocoa Powder, and Coconut Oil• Managed logistics of product delivery including expediting material receipt in a customer-driven, quickly changing environment.• Balanced projected and actual inventory with appropriate lead times and shelf-life considerations.• Ensured connectivity between quality of sample and material received, including concerns surrounding Kosher and Halal certification.• Attention to detail with customer needs regarding logistics of material quality for supplier identification and expedited acquisition of sample for quality analysis
