-Maintain strong partnerships with independent insurance agents by providing loss control guidance and support to the agency and their policy holders. Area of operations included Chicago Metro area, downstate Illinois, Northwest Indiana and into St. Louis, Mo. -Provide risk management support to identify potential work place hazards and provide technical support for corrective actions.-Work jointly with Underwriting and Claim Departments to secure new business and provide risk management services including loss trend analysis, and safety program development.

-Developed and introduced online electronic survey and recommendation forms to loss control department.-Designed and implemented Commercial Vehicle Accident Report Kit.-Wrote technical articles for the American Family Company magazine.-Provided training and technical support to the Loss Control Department staff.-Assisted loss control staff in joint survey work with complex accounts.-Develop, manage safety programs (LOTO, Hazcom, Emergency Response, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, etc.) to ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable environmental standards.-Provide mandatory and non-mandatory training to comply with local state, and federal regulations.-Investigate accidents, prepare and maintain required reports, identify countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.-Organize and participate in safety committee meetings.-Prepare written safety objectives and submit action plans to meet these objectives.-Incorporate ergonomics in the workplace and conduct job safety analysis as required.

-Service to large and complex casualty accounts including Tokio Marine, O'Hare Airport Redevelopment Program, to advise top management on the development and implementation of effective workers compensation loss control programs and activities such as establishing Return-To-Work and light duty arrangements for all trades.-Conducted solicitation surveys on all types of accounts particularly large and complex casualty accounts with participation of sales proposals.-Assist accounts with specialized service needs in ergonomics, industrial hygiene, casualty and construction.-Presented specialized training designed for individual account needs in various areas such as supervisor safety training, material handling, construction, fire protection, Hazcom, Lockout/Tagout, accident investigation etc.-Conducted fire appraisals, sprinkler grading, and other property surveys on both large and small accounts with low to moderate specialized fire protection needs.
