About Rich Goodwin

In the last 40 years I have migrated our in house developed POS and accounting software from it's original development environment on TI990/12 DX10 using RM-COBOL to NCR I-Tower, Altos 68000, C. Itoh, Motorola 68000 and other platforms, all running RM-COS and RM-COBOL. Later migrating it to Intel based hardware running SCO Unix and later Linux using AcuCOBOL and SystemZ. Along the way moving from serial/parallel attached terminals and printers to network attached devices. Providing personal customer technical support to our 90+ outside clients and 50+ corporate owned stores.Also for the last 4 years I have worked as a part-time/contract Broadcast Engineer.

    After sale of KTTW to Radiant Life Ministries/TriState Christian Television I was asked to stay on as a local engineer as I was familiar with the two full power sites they had purchased. I currently am directed by their district engineer and assist with day-to-day maintenance and operations. I handle maintaining EAS logs and keeping things running smoothly. My role is Chief Operator and handle all that I can as the district engineer is a 4.5 hour drive away when he is not at one of his other stations.
