Coach, develop and prepare sales team to meet and exceed defined sales, retention, quality, and service objectives for consumer accounts and accounts in the consumer small to medium sized business segment. Manages the daily activities of all store staff, including sales, customer service, and inventory control. Design and implement initiatives and methods/procedures that will drive customer perception of VZW as the market leader in the wireless industry.Sales Results: Meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives by acquiring and retaining the accounts of consumer small business segment. Generate new business in assigned territories through prospecting, cold calling, networking and generating leads and referrals. Maintain and grow existing customer base and manage churn. 20% of SMB time: Outbound calling and customer visits.Ordering Processing and Reporting: Fully utilize all retail sales force automation, funnel management and prospecting tools. Responsible for completing contracts and report-generation including tracking and forecasting reports. 10% of SMB time: In office, online training, etc.Performance Management: Lead store team to meet and exceed assigned quotas and manage churn. Assess individuals and team performance and initiate development plans to narrow competency gaps. Ensure retail area storefront, merchandise and literature is in conformance with the merchandising plan.
