The REED Group was originally created in 1972 as REK Partners in order to develop and create fully functioning biological systems designed to improve human productivity. The original system was delivered in late 1975, and another complete system was delivered in 1977. After the second system was successfully delivered, production was halted, company direction changed to focus on further development of its original two products, and the company name was changed to The REED Group to reflect this change. The REED Group has seen dramatic success as its first two products have continued to evolve and grow in complexity over time. Those original two products have each been able to successfully integrate their core functions with other complex systems, creating unique and highly productive new structures. Those new designs soon produced two second-generation systems, delivered in 2007 and 2010, both of which have been well-received by the market. Another fully functional product, the first one from the original system, was delivered in August 2013, and the product was so well received that work on a second new product from this system was begun almost immediately. After almost three years of very challenging development that included various supply chain issues and other setbacks, TWO new products, each with its own unique characteristics, were successfully introduced in June 2016.Although originally not planned for, the opportunity to create one more fully functioning system from the original product presented itself in late 2019, and in February 2020 that system was successfully introduced. That system has run flawlessly since its introduction.Further development of any more new products has been halted, and at this time the focus of the REED Group will continue to be on the continued development and refinement of all of those second generation products.
