My role is very customer-focused; I spend the bulk of my time liaising with organisers to ensure their event is successful. This ranges from the initial introduction, right through to the post-event feedback stage.

They act as the first point of contact, and resolve any issues or queries the customer may have.My role is to support the Event's Assistants, ensure they have all the information they need to be effective and deal with any escalated issues.Another aspect to my role is to take, and process, bookings for catering services, or potential events.

I have been hired on a freelance basis with Requiem Live, on their live experience Zombie Earth.During this time I managed a team of volunteers, ensure they were briefed, motivated and productive.

I managed the student work within the charity, which involved the running of events, managing other leaders and motivating others to fulfill tasks.I learnt how to be an effective ‘Manager of Managers’ and what it meant to work hard for something you enjoy. My must successful moment was when I successfully organised a series of music events in the local university – this involved the sourcing of equipment, recruitment of performers, people management and budget-control.

I liaised on a daily basis with conference clients, and delegates. My main task was to ensure they had everything they needed, and requested.I also dealt with any new, or last minute, requirements that arose.For the latter period of this employment, I co-led a team of 11 people.To date I have gained a moderate level of administrative and secreterial experience.

I worked as a voluntary intern for Morph as a 'gap-year' experience.During my time there I undertook a range of tasks including organisation of fund-raising initiatives, community regeneration projects and youth-mentoring experiences.I view my time with this organisation as more than the normal non-profit experience, I view it as a valuable life-experience that shaped me as a person.
