Rich is Senior Vice President and Head of M&T Bank’s Retail Banking Division, where he leads the strategic direction and oversees the customer experience and risk management infrastructure for all aspects of the business. His team is committed to putting the customer first, continually innovating and adapting to meet the evolving needs of each customer segment. Rich’s career began in the Branch Network as a Relationship Banker and Business Development Officer. He held a variety of line management roles across the M&T footprint before taking on head office responsibilities. These include leadership roles in the bank’s Digital and Telephone Banking, Consumer Deposit, Customer Experience, Debit Card and Network Planning areas before transitioning to his current role.Rich is active in the community through his work with the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, Shea’s Performing Arts Center and Transit Valley Golf & Country Club. Rich also serves on the Board of Directors for the New York Bankers Association.
