Senior Compliance Supervisor for NVOSHA for over 30 years working in all areas of NV. and assisted in catastrophic PSM investigations in California. National level cases included MGM fire, PEPCON , SIERRA CHEMICAL catastrophic explosions as , CHEVRON refinery fire and explosion (1988), TRW auto air bag propellant fire, BANGO Oil Refinery fire, and PIONEER CL2 100 ton release. I was the PSM Team Leader for 5 of above mentioned events. I have co-authored peer reviewed national professional journal articles (JOM, NIOSH pub.s) and served as peer reviewer for other NIOSH publications in toxicology and engineering control. My work was presented at AIHA, American Metaurgical Society, ADA, and NARSA national conventions. I taught semester length or lectured at community college and university level classes My inspection record of over 1200 OSHA compliance inspections in general industry and construction speaks volumes.As CEO of Safety Compliance Advisors, I have assisted petroleum and petroleum product refineries in implementation of their OSHA required high hazard chemical Process Safety Management programs. I have performed the same in some of USA's largest chemically intensive manufacturing plants. I continue to be an educator, recently being named to Univ. of Cal-Berkeley's Center for Occupational and Environmental Health's Research Advisory Board. In November of 2017, I presented a national webinar on my Pyramid PSM Implementation method for the team building of a PSM program hosted by the same organization.
