I have been an Insurance Professional for over 32 years in various capacities including Property Claims, Liability Claims, Catastrophe Claims, Claims Management and the last 20+ years as an Independent Contractor Agent, all with State Farm Insurance.As a Claim Representative, I evaulated coverage and coordinated benefits under numerous personal lines contracts. I also have extensive knowledge and understanding of commercial lines policies such as Business, Apartment, Condo Associations and Commercial Umbrella Policies.Early in my claims career, I handled all levels of property claims from simple thefts to total loss house fires. I have a diverse background in areas of estimatics, home construction, restoration and remediation. From 1987 to 1992 I traveled the U.S. extensively working with State Farm's National Catastrophe Claims Team. Often, I was a part of the first wave of "boots on the ground" to offer assitance to policyholders and communities impacted by devastating hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, wildfires and earthquakes.I am also experienced as a liability adjuster handling property damage liabilty, premises liability, bodily injury and personal injury claims. Working directly with claimant's attorneys, I determined liability, evaluated coverage under the policy and helped move the claim towards resolution.From 1992 to 1999, I was a Fire Claim Supervisor, responsible for hiring, training, oversight and management of 10-20 claim representatives in the areas of property claims and subrogation.In June, 1999, I fulfilled a longtime goal of becomming an Independent Contractor Agent for State Farm Insurance in the San Diego area. As an Agent, I utilize my diverse Insurance background and experience to help clients with their personal and business insurance needs. It is my goal to provide clients with guidance to help them manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.
