Consultancy / Business Analyst Role - Prosperity 24.7 ✪• Elicitation of functional and non-functional requirements to support the design and build of a new tool to facilitate the secure submission of identity documents required in the due diligence process for clients and related parties.• Collaborated with subject matter experts, technical staff and external suppliers to establish the technical vision and analysed trade-offs between usability and performance needs.• Worked with business users across the organisation to trial the demo KYC application to collate test responses and encourage its adoption.• Use of Atlassian software development tools to track user stories and create mock-ups for both customer-facing and internal business applications (JIRA / Balsamiq).

Consultancy / Business Analyst / Project Management Role - Prosperity 24.7 ✪(Position held intermittently, October - November 2017 and January - June 2018) • Managed and supported Information Management and Security projects.• Support role on a corporate GDPR transformation programme including the production of pivot chart reports for data storage and physical stores data collected across States of Jersey departments.

Consultancy / Business Analyst Role - Prosperity 24.7 ✪Position held intermittently (January to March, 2017 and December, 2017).• Gathered, documented and prioritised the business requirements, in the form of User Stories, relating to individual departments and the organisation as a whole. Richard presented the requirements in a suitable format that could be easily understood by the Project Sponsor and wider Project Team.• Managed workshops and documented the income collection, allocation and reconciliation processes for key departments within the States of Jersey, identifying line of business systems and documents used. The processes detailed whether tasks were manual or automated to identify areas requiring improvement.

Consultancy / Business Analyst Role - Prosperity 24.7 ✪• Richard was chosen to lead a major Service Design workstream, responsible for re-designing internal processes within the States of Jersey, including the new and returning residents process. • Managed and communicated key risks, issues and dependencies through weekly updates to multiple stakeholders. Richard also worked closely with the Project Sponsor to discuss, escalate and resolve any open risks, issues and dependencies. • Facilitated requirements elicitation workshops with operational and managerial SME’s from the following departments: Customs and Immigration, Social Security Department, Taxes Office, Health and Social Security Department. • Delivered demo and training sessions to encourage use of the Firmstep forms platform.

Consultancy / Business Analyst Role - Prosperity 24.7 ✪• Business process mapping - use of cross-functional flowcharts and swim lane mapping.• Use of Microsoft Visio to illustrate business process complexity and opportunities for removal of waste. Recommendations presented to Project Steering Group.• Utilised Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) training to determine what is critical to quality and subsequently to help to quantitatively determine the Client’s requirements.• As part of the identified waste elimination, Richard has helped implement a new process through creation of wire frames using Balsamiq, and subsequently electronic forms using the open source content management service, Umbraco.• Worked alongside business users to build the scenarios and test scripts, ensuring these were signed off before being distributed to the testers. In addition, Richard assisted the business in competing their testing of Microsoft CRM by undertaking UAT.• Oversight in managing test defects, maintaining these in a formal log. He was proactive in ensuring these were correctly triaged, allocated and resolved.• Regular use and creation of best practise project management documentation i.e. Project Initiation Document, Business Case, project highlight reporting including production and maintenance of a Project Dashboard.
